Breathtaking Beach Art by Jim Denevan

I deeply appreciate the notions of temporary existence conveyed in this beach art by Jim Denevan that rattles me to the core and makes me question life in general. We spend all of our time constructing castles in the sand, working relentlessly towards some kind of final goal until everything’s washed away. But does the washing away of everything we’ve created make it any less existant? No. I think it makes us realize that instead of the resulting product, it’s the process of creation that provides content and meaning.
